Protect access to Dungeness beach

TO DEFEND DUNGENESS POINT
We the undersigned
Oppose the planning application KCC/SH/0381/2011
to extract shingle from the 'borrow pit' with the fencing off
of the beach from October to March every year until 2023.
This will restrict access to the premier winter cod fishery in the country, visited by tens of thousands of anglers every winter from all over the UK and further.. This will have severe consequences for the local economy which is already under financial pressure and remove an important amenity for thousands of anglers, walkers and bird watchers.
