We call on the Government to overrule the Boundary Commission if, after consultation, it fails to amend its initial proposals for Newcastle-under-Lyme to better reflect community ties. The current proposals completely disregard Newcastle’s community identity by splitting it into two - merging half of the town into Stone and the other half into Kidsgrove.
