Vehicle MOT's MUST still be carried out annually!
Responsible department: Department for Transport
The Government is looking to change the current MOT test so that a vehicle does not need an MOT test for 4 years from first registration and then only bi-annually thereafter.
This means that potentially, a brand new car could be on the road for up to four years before any kind of safety check is carried out! Let's face it, not everybody gets their car serviced properly.
Are you willing to take the risk that someone you know could be involved in an accident because of an unroadworthy vehicle?
