Criminal Prosecution status for theft of IP in the UK

Better protection for inventors – Currently the only way to address the issue of a dispute relating to infringement or theft of a product, design or I.P. is through the Civil Courts however, when tackling larger corporate bodies many lone inventors or their small businesses find this course of action financially prohibitive to pursue thus allowing a disproportionate advantage to the guilty party. Legislation must be changed to allow more effective action to be taken against the perpetrators and allow justice to prevail.
